Job Function In support of the Mission and Vision of Motor City Community Credit Union, the Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) is responsible for leading enterprise transformation, technology strategy, project governance and organizational change. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CTO works across the Credit Union to translate strategic priorities into coordinated initiatives that improve operational efficiency, strengthen governance and risk management, modernize systems and processes, and enhance member and employee experiences. The CTO provides executive leadership for digital and information technology, establishes disciplined portfolio and project management practices, and builds organizational readiness and accountability for sustainable change.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

- Lead the Credit Union’s transformation strategy and roadmap in alignment with the strategic plan, values and risk appetite
- Translate strategic priorities into coordinated initiatives with clear outcomes, accountabilities, timelines, resources and performance measures
- Provide executive leadership for technology and digital services, including systems, infrastructure, data, cybersecurity and member-facing platforms
- Oversee the selection, implementation, maintenance and lifecycle management of technology solutions and third-party providers
- Establish consistent project and portfolio governance, including business cases, prioritization, risk management, reporting and post-implementation review
- Lead priority transformation projects and ensure delivery within approved scope, timelines and budgets
- Champion change management, employee engagement, training, process improvement and adoption of new ways of working
- Ensure transformation and technology activities comply with legislation, regulatory expectations, internal policies and the Credit Union’s risk-management framework
- Develop operating and capital budgets, monitor results and ensure effective use of financial, staffing and external resources
- Build organizational capability and provide timely reporting and recommendations to the CEO and as required, the Board and its Committees
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce,



Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; an advanced degree is considered an asset.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise transformation, technology leadership, project portfolio management, strategic planning or operational improvement, including significant senior leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, enterprise-wide transformation and technology initiatives within a regulated environment; financial services or credit union experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience establishing project governance, leading a PMO or enterprise portfolio, and delivering multiple interdependent initiatives within approved scope, timelines and budgets.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise technology, digital delivery, cybersecurity, data governance, business continuity, vendor management and technology risk.
- Knowledge of project and change-management methodologies; PMP, PgMP, Prosci or a comparable professional designation is considered an asset.
- Experience developing business cases, operating plans, budgets, performance measures and executive or Board-level reporting.
- Experience in a unionized workplace is considered an asset.
- Must be bondable.

- Systems thinking and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Excellent executive communication, presentation, collaboration, coaching and relationship-building skills.
- Sound judgment, integrity, accountability and the ability to make balanced decisions in a dynamic, regulated environment.
- A member-focused and employee-conscious approach that values accessibility, service, continuous improvement and sustainable results.
