Position Summary:

The Truck Operator is responsible for the short haul of bulk Petro-Canada petroleum products or other NPR products. The Truck operator needs to be flexible to some shift work to accommodate customer demands. The Operator is also responsible for maintaining and cleaning the truck to Koch Fuel Products standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Dispatcher and Site Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Truck Operator include, but are not limited to, the following:

Facility and Equipment Management

- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Clean and maintain interior and exterior of the trucks

Safety and Compliance

- To operate any truck, trailer, and pumping units in the safest fashion possible
- Ability to deliver bulk products in a secure manner while following Koch Fuel Products standards
- Ability to follow all CPPI safety requirements and all other safety measures outlined in your policy manual and truck handbook.
- Comply with all legislations including laws of the road, Alberta transportation,



weights and measures
- Report defects, accidents, hazards, and violations

Operational and Managerial Duties

- Receive and follow oral or written orders from Site Manager or Dispatcher
- Your attitude must always be towards improving your methods and systems of handling maintenance, trucks, equipment, and products.
- Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
- The ability to switch between trucks and delivery of different products

Pay: $32.00-$37.00 per hour

- Drayton Valley, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:
- Liquid hauling : 1 year (required)

Language:
- English (required)

Licence/Certification:
- Class 3 Licence (required)
