ASP is looking for a reliable, hardworking Construction Labourer / Equipment Operator to support our earthworks and general construction projects.

This is a hands-on position involving both manual labour and equipment operation. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, works well with a small crew and wants to grow with the company.

Responsibilities

- Perform shovelling, raking, site cleanup and material handling.
- Assist with excavation, grading, gravel placement and compaction.
- Operate skid steers, small excavators and other equipment within your experience and training.
- Assist with general construction and basic carpentry tasks.
- Help with equipment preparation, daily checks and site setup.
- Follow site safety procedures and direction from the foreman.
- Travel to out-of-town projects when required.

Requirements




- Previous construction labour experience.
- Experience operating skid steers and small excavators.
- Willing and physically able to perform manual labour throughout the workday.
- Reliable attendance, a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibility.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
- Ability and willingness to travel out of town as needed.

Assets: Carpentry experience, experience working around underground utilities, and a Class 1 driver’s licence. Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
