We're an established, unionized BC heavy civil contractor. We build infrastructure for public agencies and major private developers, on sites across the Lower Mainland and throughout the province. We're hiring a Construction Manager to lead field operations across our portfolio.

Responsibilities

- Oversee multiple projects running at the same time, and lead the superintendent and foreman group
- Own field performance on safety, productivity, schedule and cost
- Allocate crews and equipment across projects for the best utilization
- Work with estimating on constructability and methods at the bid stage
- Set and enforce field standards, systems and reporting
- Develop the next generation of field leaders

Qualifications

- 15+ years of heavy civil experience, including senior field leadership across multiple projects or a division




- Experience delivering large public-sector infrastructure projects
- Strong commercial sense: you understand how field decisions affect margin
- Proven ability to lead experienced people and hold them accountable
- Unionized workforce experience is an asset
- Gold Seal, PMP, or a civil technology or engineering background is an asset
