Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily site operations and supervise crews, subcontractors, and trades.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
- Monitor progress and conduct daily site inspections to maintain quality control.
- Coordinate schedules, allocate resources, and manage workflow to meet deadlines.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and office staff to ensure smooth communication and reporting.
- Maintain accurate site documentation including daily logs, timesheets, and incident reports.
- Enforce safety protocols, and promote a safe working environment.
- Identify and resolve site issues, conflicts, and delays proactively.
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are delivered and used efficiently.
- Represent the company professionally with clients, inspectors, and stakeholders.
- Utilize construction management software such as Bluebeam and Microsoft Porject for project tracking and documentation.




- Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project budgets, including estimating costs and monitoring expenses to ensure financial efficiency.
- Provide training and support to crew members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Address any issues or delays promptly to minimize impact on project timelines.

Experience

- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in construction (residential or commercial projects).
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Strong knowledge of construction management software (Bluebeam or Microsoft Projects) is preferred.
- Familiarity with budgeting and construction estimating processes
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Experience in quality control practices within construction settings.
