Construction Trades Helper and Labourer is a full time position fixed at 35 hours/week.

Your in office duties include:

- Preparing the site for construction by clearing, digging and conducting soil tests to remove debris. Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
- Tending or feeding operating machines and equipment like jackhammers, trenchers, concrete mixers; mixing, pouring and spreading materials, and assisting heavy equipment operators.
- Building and demolishing temporary construction structures like scaffolding, shoring and bracing concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
- Cleaning and piling salvaged materials, rubble, chemical spills and other contaminants at construction sites.
- Directing traffic at or near construction sites.




- Measuring and cutting building materials according to instructions and using them for construction and installation.
- Installing and repairing, performing general carpentry and mechanical operations.
- Observing safety guidelines and ensuring that the structure is safe and adheres to all building codes, regulations, and policies.
- Maintaining and renovating physical structures while adhering to deadlines and budget limits, paving and raking asphalt.
- Performing other activities at construction sites, as directed

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
