The Project: The Senior Project Manager, Conventional Signalling will provide project management leadership for the delivery of the conventional signalling. The role will support the planning, development and implementation of signalling projects across multiple corridors and work packages, ensuring alignment with program objectives, delivery milestones and operational requirements.
You'll Be Responsible For
- Leading the planning and delivery of conventional signalling projects from development through commissioning.
- Managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks and interfaces.
- Coordinating stakeholders across railway operators, consultants and contractors.
- Supporting the development of delivery, staging and commissioning strategies.
- Managing consultants, contractors and technical specialists.
- Monitoring programme performance and implementing mitigation actions where required.
- Supporting governance, reporting and senior management decision-making.
- Ensuring signalling works are delivered safely and in accordance with programme requirements and commissioning milestones
You’ll Need To Have
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years' experience managing major rail, transit, signalling or infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience delivering railway signalling projects through planning, design, construction and commissioning phases.
- Robust understanding of railway systems, signalling principles and rail infrastructure delivery.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex stakeholder environments.
- Proven ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget and risk.
- Excellent communication, leadership and relationship management skills.
- Experience working within large transportation or transit programmes is preferred.
- PMP designation and/or professional engineering designation considered an asset.
Note: The estimated salary for this position is 130,000 - 180,000 CAD. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
