Job Summary

Duties

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Support cooking activities by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors to ensure timely meal service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including countertops, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices
- Perform basic cashiering duties using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for order processing and payment handling
- Support serving staff by preparing orders for delivery or table service and assisting with guest requests when needed
- Ensure all kitchen supplies are stocked,



organized, and stored correctly to facilitate smooth operations

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience or familiarity with restaurant operations is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in a kitchen environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks involved in food preparation and cleaning
- Experience with cash handling or POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Hospitality or hotel experience can be advantageous for understanding guest service expectations
- A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset
