We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cook to join our team at Thai Express in Willowbrook Shopping Centre. This position involves preparing and cooking food in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining consistent food quality and cleanliness.

Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred, but not required. We welcome applicants with no experience and will provide training. We are looking for someone who is responsible, willing to learn, and works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to Thai Express recipes and standards
- Prepare ingredients and complete daily food preparation tasks
- Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner periods
- Maintain consistent food quality and portion sizes
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures
- Keep the kitchen, equipment, and workstations clean and organized




- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
- Work closely with other team members to keep orders running smoothly
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required

Qualifications
- Previous kitchen, cooking, or restaurant experience is preferred, but not required
- No experience? You are welcome to apply — training will be provided
- Willing to learn and follow recipes and procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Able to work efficiently in a quick-paced workplace
- Able to work well with others as part of a team
- Basic understanding of food safety and cleanliness is an asset
- Able to stand for extended periods during shifts

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
