About Shift Ground
Shift Ground is a Winnipeg-based nonprofit working at the intersection of youth development, climate resilience, sustainable food systems and the green economy.
A key part of our work is helping more young people see themselves in the green economy.
We especially encourage applications from Indigenous, Black and other racialized students, newcomers, students with disabilities, women and others historically underrepresented in agriculture and environmental fields.
You do not need to already see yourself as an “agriculture person.” Part of this placement is about discovering where your skills and interests may fit within the future of food, land and climate.

Applicants must be currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution, and their program of study should reasonably align with the placement.
