Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and detail-oriented Cosmetic Injector (Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician) to join our growing clinical team. In this role, you will specialize in non-surgical facial rejuvenation, primarily focused on neuromodulator administration (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®) and dermal fillers. The ideal candidate blends artistic vision with advanced clinical expertise to deliver natural-looking results while upholding the highest standards of patient safety and care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Consultation Delivery
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, assessing facial anatomy, skin quality, and aesthetic goals to create personalized treatment plans.
- Administer neuromodulators (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®) for facial line reduction, brow lifts, hyperhidrosis, and masseter/TMJ treatments.
- Perform dermal filler injections (Hyaluronic Acid fillers) for volume restoration, lip enhancement, contouring, and facial harmony.
- Execute thorough pre- and post-treatment education, including set expectations, risk disclosures, and aftercare protocols.
- Manage and respond to rare post-treatment complications or adverse reactions, maintaining direct protocols for patient emergency care.
Patient Relationship & Business Growth
- Build long-term patient rapport and maintain strong retention through high-touch follow-ups and personalized care plans.
- Recommend complementary treatments (e.g., skin rejuvenation, medical-grade skincare) to enhance and extend injectable results.
- Maintain complete and meticulous Electronic Medical Records (EMR), including detailed treatment charting, dosage records, and standardized photo documentation.
Compliance & Safety
- Adhere strictly to provincial regulatory body guidelines (e.g., CNO, CPO, CPSO depending on province) and clinic medical directive protocols.
- Maintain aseptic technique, proper storage, reconstitution, and inventory control of controlled biologicals/injectables.
- Collaborate with Medical Directors, supervising Physicians, and clinical staff to ensure seamless inter-professional care.
Qualifications & Experience
- Licensure: Active registration in positive standing with the provincial college (e.g., Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Medical Doctor (MD/DO)).
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience independently injecting Botox® and dermal fillers in a clinical setting.
- Certifications:
- Advanced Cosmetic Injectable Certification from an accredited Canadian/International training institute.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR Certification.
- Skills:
- In-depth mastery of facial anatomy, danger zones, vascular mapping, and aging processes.
- Strong aesthetic eye with a commitment to natural-looking results and patient safety.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and consultative selling abilities.
