Role Description The Cosmetic Nurse is responsible for providing safe, evidence-based cosmetic treatments, including injectable procedures (such as dermal fillers and neuromodulators), laser treatments, PRP, and other non-surgical aesthetic services. Day-to-day tasks include conducting client consultations, assessing treatment suitability, developing personalized care plans, performing procedures according to clinic protocols, and providing pre- and post-treatment education.
The role involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation, adhering to regulatory and clinic safety standards, and collaborating with physicians and other team members to optimize client outcomes.
The Cosmetic
Nurse will also support client follow-up, manage treatment rooms and equipment, and contribute to a welcoming and professional clinic environment. This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada.
Qualifications
- Current nursing license (e.g., RN or RPN) in good standing with the relevant provincial regulatory body in Ontario.
- Experience or formal training in cosmetic nursing, including injectables (e.g., dermal fillers, neuromodulators such as Botox) and laser-based treatments.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, and delivering non-surgical cosmetic procedures safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of and comfort working with cosmetic technologies (e.g., laser platforms, body contouring devices, PRP systems) and adherence to infection prevention and control standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures clearly, manage expectations, and provide client-centered care in an inclusive environment.
- Demonstrated attention to detail in clinical documentation, charting, and treatment follow-up, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Commitment to continuing education in aesthetic medicine and staying current with best practices, recent technologies, and relevant clinical guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a professional, respectful, and supportive workplace culture.
