What You’ll Be Doing · Advising clients on all aspects of secured and unsecured debt collection, bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring, and creditor rights.

· Acting for a range of stakeholders including lenders, trustees, receivers, and debtors.

· Handling files involving debt collection, bankruptcies, receiverships, proposals, CCAA restructurings, and enforcement matters.

· Managing debt recovery and collection matters for financial institutions and other creditors.

· Representing clients in court on motions, applications, and other proceedings.

· Negotiating and drafting a variety of insolvency-related agreements and court documents.





· Collaborating with colleagues in related practice areas to deliver integrated legal solutions.

What We’re Looking For

· 5+ years of experience in debt collection, insolvency, restructuring, enforcement of Judgments and general creditor’s rights.

· Strong litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills.

· Excellent professional and academic credentials.

· Ability to manage files independently and efficiently.

· Strong interpersonal and client service skills.

· An entrepreneurial mindset and desire to contribute to business development.

· Willingness to work, in person, at our Toronto office at least 4 days per week.

Pay: $120,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
