Maintains a safe, clean working environment for all dealership employees and customers. Part time shuttle driver as required

Automotive Custodian - Essential Duties

- Cleans the service and customer areas.
- Washes all walls, windows, glass doors and glass panels throughout service, parts, showroom area.
- Mops and cleans service waiting area, offices, technicians' locker room and lunchroom, halls, walls and shop bathroom.
- Sweeps, Service department, Show Room, Offices and Quicklane, floors, halls, walls and seating areas.
- Cleans all signs, posters, service signs, mirrors, fans.
- Cleans bathrooms and restocks paper supplies as needed.
- Cleans all showroom displays.
- Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.
- Empties and cleans lunchroom & refrigerator once a week.
- Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside.
- Removes all debris from lot.
- Maintains cleaning supplies.
- Mows lawn, trims shrubbery and cultivates flowers. Waters flower beds and removes debris.
- Uses proper eye, hand and body protection when using products that require protection.
- Other tasks as assigned or directed by their manager.

Automotive Custodian - Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Automotive Custodian - Education and/or Experience

- Some prior experience or training would be a asset.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Automotive Custodian - Language Skills





- Ability to read and comprehend straightforward instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence emails is a requirement.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Automotive Custodian - Reasoning Ability

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
