The Projects and Data team within the Civil Liability and Legal Services for Compensation (LCC) division transforms data into visual narratives that bring information to life. Through strategy, analytics, governance, and national project management, we convert complex data into actionable insights that directly influence business decisions, strategic initiatives, and operational performance.

We are currently at the forefront of a major transformation of our analytics ecosystem with the adoption of Databricks. Over the coming months, our priority will be to lay the groundwork for this recent platform, working closely with the Claims Actuarial (CDAT) and Claims Finance teams, as well as LCC’s business partners. Together, we are modernizing our reporting, automating our analytical solutions, and pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve with data.

In this role, you will transform raw data into high-quality analytical datasets, develop and maintain reports in Databricks, and collaborate closely with LCC business analysts, business partners, and the CDAT and Finance teams. Develop, optimize, and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions for the Liability and Claims Legal (LCC) department,



primarily in the Databricks environment.

Monitor, identify, and analyze performance trends; Consolidate data from multiple sources while ensuring its quality, integrity, and reliability.

Create and maintain a data inventory, and support the tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs).

Proactively identify new data sources and data elements to enrich the analysis of performance and business trends.

Produce and maintain high-quality documentation to support training, the implementation of best practices, and process standardization.

Collaborate with claims and LCC project teams to develop new Power BI reports and dashboards.

Respond to ad hoc analysis and reporting needs as they arise.

Work closely with key data teams, including Actuarial, CDAT, and LCC project managers.

Actively contribute to the evolution, modernization, and adoption of Databricks within the organization. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, data science, actuarial science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience —required.

Proficiency in Python and SQL —required.

Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools, including Power BI and DAX —required.

Experience with artificial intelligence agents and tools such as ChatGPT, Cortex Code (Snowflake), Rovo (Confluence), or comparable solutions —required.

Experience with GitHub and code management and control practices —required.

A solid understanding of data governance, privacy, and security principles.





Experience in data modeling, transformation, and integration.

Experience with cloud-based data warehouses, including Snowflake and Databricks.

Strong knowledge of data quality, validation, and documentation practices.

Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bilingualism (English/French) – For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

No work experience in Canada is required, but you must be eligible to work in Canada. Assets

Experience with data pipelines and process orchestration.

Experience in the fields of actuarial science, insurance, or claims.
