As a Deli Cheese Clerk, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and safety. Responsibilities

- Preparing and packaging deli items, including, cheese, meats for sale.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cheese prep area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and well-maintained.
- Assist customers with sampling their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and answering any questions regarding products.
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines during food handling and preparation processes.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours while maintaining high-quality service.

Requirements

- Previous experience in food preparation or food service within the restaurant or food industry is preferred.
- A good knowledge of cheese and select meats.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage effectively with customers while sampling products.
- Flexability in required shifts and working weekends.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
