Horizon Ag & Turf is seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented Delivery Driver to join our South Edmonton team. This position plays a critical role in delivering agricultural, turf, construction, and compact equipment to our customers and supporting transfers between company locations.

The ideal candidate will have experience towing trailers, hauling equipment, and ensuring loads are secured safely and professionally. Experience operating a 1-ton truck with a 27-foot gooseneck trailer, as well as 16- to 20-foot equipment trailers, is highly desirable.

THE POSITION

As a Delivery Driver, you will:

- Safely operate a 1-ton truck and a variety of trailers, including a 27-foot gooseneck trailer and 16- to 20-foot equipment trailers.
- Transport agricultural, turf, compact construction, and other equipment to customers and between company locations.
- Transport marine, power and motorsports equipment including boats.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper load securement practices are followed at all times.




- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Inspect equipment prior to delivery to confirm cleanliness, functionality, and safety standards are met.
- Complete delivery documentation accurately, including logs, inspections, and customer paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, pickups, and customer interactions.
- Assist with yard organization and equipment movement as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicles and trailers.
- Follow all transportation regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Operate safely in varying road, weather, and winter driving conditions.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- Experience towing trailers, including gooseneck and equipment trailers.
- Experience hauling large agricultural, turf, construction, or industrial equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of proper load securement practices and transportation safety requirements.
- Strong understanding of defensive driving and winter driving conditions.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.




- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical work related to loading, unloading, and securing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience operating agricultural, turf, or construction equipment.
- Forklift certification and operating experience.
- Previous dealership, transportation, or equipment industry experience.
- Familiarity with the Edmonton and surrounding area.
