Sage Hill Dental is looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable Dental Administrator to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental office, robust communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to providing excellent patient service.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a dental administrator/receptionist in a dental office.
- Experience with ClearDent is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office environment.
- Professional, friendly, and patient-focused attitude.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, insurance procedures, and dental office administration.
Usual Job Duties
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries.
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments.
- Maintain and update patient records and information.
- Manage the dental office schedule efficiently.
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs.
- Prepare and process dental treatment estimates and insurance claims.
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related questions.
- Process payments and provide receipts.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts and insurance claims when required.
- Coordinate recalls and follow up with patients regarding appointments.
- Communicate with dental professionals, specialists, laboratories, and other healthcare providers as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Assist with general administrative and clerical duties to support the dental team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Follow clinic policies and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
