Key Responsibilities
- Front Desk Operations: Welcome patients, manage check-ins/check-outs, and maintain a warm, welcoming reception atmosphere.
- Insurance & Billing: Navigate the Alberta Dental Fee Guide, submit primary and secondary electronic claims, process pre-determinations, and coordinate patient benefits.
- Schedule Optimization: Proactively manage hygiene and doctor schedules to maintain continuous workflow and fill last-minute gaps.
- Treatment Coordination: Present treatment estimates clearly, explain payment options, and help patients navigate their insurance coverage with confidence.
- Account Reconciliation: Collect patient copayments, process daily deposits, and follow up on outstanding insurance accounts.

What We Are Looking For
- Experience:



Minimum 1 year of hands-on administrative experience in a Canadian dental practice.
- Software Proficiency: Strong familiarity with dental practice management software (experience with ClearDent is a strong asset).
- Billing Mastery: Direct experience working with the Alberta Dental Fee Guide and handling complex insurance pre-determinations and benefit coordination.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a compassionate, professional patient approach.
- Reliability & Stability: A track record of consistent employment and a desire to settle into a long-term role.
