Duties
- Assist dentists during various procedures, including exams, cleanings, and restorations.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and treatment plans to promote healthy habits
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and medical terminology standards to ensure safety and compliance
Requirements
- Proven experience in dental assisting with knowledge of dental procedures and clinical practices
- Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Dentrix.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Certification or training in dental assisting.
- A proactive attitude with excellent teamwork skills to support both clinical and administrative functions
