Job Summary

Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Sterilization Technician and Digital Lab Assistant! In this vital role, you will ensure the highest standards of sterilization, safety, and efficiency in our dental practice while supporting the digital laboratory processes. Your proactive approach will help maintain a clean, organized environment and facilitate the creation of precise dental restorations.

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in dental assisting, laboratory procedures, and digital technology within a collaborative setting. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute directly to providing exceptional patient care and streamlined lab operations.

Duties

- Properly sterilize and process dental instruments using advanced sterilization equipment, adhering to strict infection control protocols
- Assist with digital laboratory tasks, including designing appliances and restorations using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software, and 3D printing with SprintRay Pro2 and Midas
- Maintain organized storage of sterilized instruments and lab materials for easy access and inventory control
- Support the dental team by preparing materials, handling lab supplies, and ensuring all tools are ready for patient procedures




- Follow detailed procedures for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining sterilization equipment to ensure compliance with health standards
- Assist in managing laboratory workflows by tracking cases, updating digital records, and communicating with clinicians about project status
- Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization cycles, lab activities, and inventory logs to ensure transparency and compliance

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a dental office or laboratory workplace is highly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and infection control practices
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for handling multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and sterilization techniques
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with dental professionals and lab staff
- Experience with CAD software, digital design tools and 3D printing is a is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
