Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning items for service
- Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies and ensuring all items are stored properly
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in all food-related tasks
- Help with waste disposal and recycling processes to keep the kitchen tidy and environmentally responsible




- Adhere to sanitation protocols and safety guidelines at all times during your shift
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service workplace is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Basic knowledge of kitchen tools, cooking techniques, and food preparation processes is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards hospitality service
- Willingness to follow instructions carefully and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
