Responsibilities

- Manage transportation schedules using transportation management systems (TMS) to optimize routing and delivery times
- Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and warehouse teams to schedule pickups and deliveries efficiently
- Utilize supply chain knowledge to monitor freight movements, resolve delays, and adjust plans as needed
- Input data accurately into systems such as AS400 and SyteLine for shipment tracking and documentation
- Communicate clearly with drivers and internal teams via multi-line phone systems, demonstrating professional phone etiquette
- Maintain detailed shipping & receiving records,



ensuring all documentation complies with company policies
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends, improve processes, and support continuous operational improvements

Experience

- Proven experience working with transportation management systems (TMS) and supply chain operations
- Familiarity with third-party logistics providers (3PL) environments is a plus
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy in fast-paced settings
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret freight data and optimize logistics workflows
- Proficiency in using systems such as AS400 and SyteLine for order processing and inventory management
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with polished phone etiquette
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while managing multiple priorities simultaneously
