Role: Drafter/Project Coordinator

S3 Precast/Tanks-A-Lot Ltd. is a manufacturer for concrete tanks, drainage products (manholes, catch basins, etc.) precast fencing and more in Western Canada.

Skills

· Drafting (including 3D)

· Attention to details

· Ability to read technical civil construction drawings

· Willingness to build strong relationships with internal sales staff, customers and suppliers

· Able to work in a fast-paced work environment

· Must be self-motivated and work with little to no supervision

· Continuously increase product knowledge

Responsibilities

· Assist Project Management staff by drafting accurate shop drawings for custom structures in a timely manner

· Increase customer service level of company by providing more detailed (including 3D) drawings where necessary

· Prepare project takeoffs and shop drawings

· Read technical civil drawings and understand specifications





· Assist project managers throughout the project lifecycle

· Assist production team on details for custom products, as well as communicating project changes

· Provide professional and technical expertise to customers

· Assist with inside sales as needed

· Complete accurate estimates during high demand periods throughout the season

Essential Requirements

· Education in Civil Construction, Drafting or Engineering

· Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable vehicle required

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
