Duties

- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Provide attentive caregiving to meet the individual needs of each child, including feeding, diapering, and comforting
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to health and safety standards
- Observe and document each child's progress to inform planning and communicate with families regularly
- Foster positive behavior through encouragement, guidance, and conflict resolution strategies
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements and participate in ongoing professional development

Skills





- Experience working with children across various age groups in early childhood settings
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to supporting children's physical and emotional needs
- Classroom experience demonstrating effective management of group activities and routines
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Ability to teach foundational skills through engaging activities that stimulate curiosity and learning
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, families, and team members
