Full-Time Early Childhood Educator (Level 2 or 3) – Magic Days Early Learning Center

Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate and dependable full time Early Childhood Educator to join our team in [City]. In this role, you will plan and lead meaningful learning experiences, care for children's wellbeing, and build strong relationships with families. You'll bring our five pillars to life in the classroom and help each child grow with confidence and joy.
Duties
- Plan and lead engaging, developmentally appropriate activities across our five curriculum pillars
- Support early literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving through hands-on exploration
- Foster independence, confidence,
and social-emotional growth
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom in line with Alberta licensing regulations and health and safety practices
- Observe and document children's learning and development
- Communicate warmly and professionally with families about their child's day and progress
- Work collaboratively with your co-educators and leadership team
- Contribute ideas and creativity to curriculum planning
Requirements This position is open to applicants who hold a valid Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification (Level 2 or 3) and have experience working with children ages [0/1] to 5. Applicants must have valid Child Care First Aid and CPR (or be willing to obtain it) and a clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check. Knowledge of Alberta child care licensing regulations is required, and experience supporting diverse learning needs is an asset.
The Educator's Role at Magic Days

A Magic Days educator is calm and confident, open to feedback, eager to keep learning, and always brings warmth and energy to the classroom. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Following Magic Days curriculum and center policies
- Taking part in staff meetings and professional development
- Supporting new staff and sharing ideas with the team
- Helping prepare the classroom for daily routines, transitions, and special events
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $23.05-$27.62 per hour
