Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated full-time Early Childhood Education Infant & Toddler (ECEIT) educators to join our team. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers, supporting their developmental milestones through engaging activities and personalized care. Your passion for early childhood education will inspire young learners and contribute to their growth in a supportive setting.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to infants and toddlers, fostering cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Provide attentive, nurturing care that meets each child's individual needs, including feeding, diapering, and comfort
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure consistent care and progress updates
- Observe and document children’s developmental progress, sharing insights with families during regular meetings
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities that promote early childhood learning standards
- Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes

Qualifications




- Experience working with children in early childhood settings or classroom experience in infant/toddler care
- Knowledge of child development principles specific to infants and toddlers
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are highly preferred to support diverse families
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members
- Childcare or early childhood education certification or relevant training required
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Proficiency in computer operation for documentation, lesson planning, and communication tools
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment
- Leadership qualities with the ability to guide young children safely through daily routines

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
