Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Education (ECE) Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their foundational years. Responsibilities

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in toddlers.
- Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.
- Observe and assess each child's progress, maintaining detailed records of developmental milestones and behaviors.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress, needs, and classroom activities.
- Foster inclusive learning by supporting children with diverse backgrounds and abilities, including those with special education needs or disabilities.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
- Utilize computer skills to document daily activities, update records, and communicate with team members efficiently.




- Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities that integrate language development in English and French, supporting bilingual learners.
- Manage classroom routines with strong time management skills to ensure smooth transitions throughout the day.
- Demonstrate leadership by guiding children through structured activities while encouraging independence and social skills development.

Experience

- Prior experience working with young children in an early childhood education setting is highly preferred.
- Experience working with children who have disabilities or special needs is advantageous.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is desirable to support diverse language learners.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare is essential.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Proven organizational skills to manage classroom materials, documentation, and daily schedules efficiently.
- Familiarity with computer operation for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead activities confidently while maintaining a nurturing environment focused on each child's well-being.
