POSITIONOVERVIEW

ThispositionisintendedtoprovidethesuccessfulcandidatewithatechnicalleadershiprolewithinCEMEngineering. KEYDUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES;

Inthisrole,youwill: EnsurethatclientsaresatisfiedwithCEMservicesthroughprofessionalconduct,diligentresponseandmaintainingsuccessfulrelationships. Designanddevelopelectrical,instrumentation,andcontrolsystemstohighspecificationsfocusingoneconomy,safety,reliability,quality,andsustainability. Provideexpertiseinyourareaofspecialization.





Leadaprojectteamconsistingofengineersanddesigners/drafting.ProjectstypicallyincludecogenerationorCHP(gasturbine,steamturbine,andreciprocatingengineprimemovers),industrialsteamplants,hotwaterandchillerplants,renewablenaturalgas(RNG),hydrogen,anddistrictenergyprojects. Coordinatethedevelopmentoftheprojectconceptandleadtheprojectfromconcepttodetailedcontractdocuments(IssuedforConstructiondrawingsandspecifications),andthroughconstruction(contractadministration)andcommissioning. Assumeprojectmanagementtasksandresponsibilitiestoplan,track,andforecastprojectperformance.

Supportengineeringproposalsandbusinessdevelopment. QUALIFICATIONSANDEXPERIENCE

Tobesuccessfulinthisrole,youwillpossess: 7+yearsofrelevantworkingexperienceasacustomer-focusedElectrical,Instrumentation&ControlEngineer.; Fundamentaltechnicalengineeringknowledgeandstrongproblem-solvingskills. Bachelor’sDegreeinElectricalEngineering RegisteredProfessionalEngineerinoneormoreoftheCanadianprovincesingoodstanding.

Highandmediumvoltagesubstationdesign,especiallyprotectionandcontrolsystems. Flexibilityandcapacitytoadaptinasmall,butdynamicconsultingfirm. Stronginterpersonalskillstomanagetheteam,theclient,andexternalparties(utilities,sub-consultants,contractors,equipmentvendors,etc.).

Excellentoralandwrittencommunicationskills,includingtechnicalwritingskills. Proficiencyinstandardofficesoftware(e.g.,Office365). Experienceinprocessindustrialandpowerconsulting,specifically,andforexample:
