Newfound Mechanical Ltd. is looking for a qualified Journeyperson Electrician to join our team.

POSITION OVERVIEW The ideal candidate will be of efficient, safety-minded employee for a home and other commercial construction development, capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely. Additionally, he or she should be familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures to ensure project security.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operate basic power and manual tools for work
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Detail-oriented and able to read and interpret blueprints,
- Good team player, flexible and client focus
- Understanding and ability to follow safe work procedures, and work within a crew accordingly
- Understanding of electrical codes
- Experience in commercial, residential and industrial would be an asset.




- Estimating budgetary requirements for projects would be an asset.
- Assist with loading/unloading materials - 50 lb requirement
- Clean up as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

- 5+ years in an electrical role.

Working Hours: 8:00AM – 4:30PM with extra hours based on operational needs

Employment Status: Full-Time

Compensation: $36.00/hourly + 10% Vacation
