Vaco is seeking an Electronics Technician with hands-on experience in analog electronics testing, troubleshooting, and soldering. This role supports the inspection, repair, refurbishment, and testing of electronic assemblies in a regulated, quality-focused setting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, methodical, and comfortable working from schematics and test procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional testing and troubleshooting of analog electronic assemblies and components Execute through-hole and surface-mount soldering and desoldering to IPC-level workmanship standards Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Use electronic test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and signal generators Identify component-level failures and support root cause analysis
- Document test results, repairs, and findings per internal procedures
- Support incoming inspection, rework, refurbishment, and final acceptance testing
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper ESD controls
- Follow company quality, safety, and configuration control procedures




- Collaborate with engineers, quality, and operations personnel as needed

Required Qualifications

- 2–3+ years of hands‑on electronics technician experience
- Strong background in analog electronics
- Proven experience with soldering and rework (through‑hole required; SMT preferred)
- Experience using standard electronic test equipment
- Ability to follow written procedures and technical instructions accurately
- Comfortable working independently and managing assigned tasks
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a regulated or quality‑controlled environment
- Familiarity with IPC soldering standards Experience with legacy or obsolete electronics
- Associate degree or technical certification in electronics (preferred, not required)
