About the role

We're looking for an experienced Email Marketing Specialist to fully own email and SMS blasts for a growing DTC brand within our Agency. This is an end-to-end role - you're not just writing copy or just designing templates, you're running the whole channel: strategy, copy, design, flow builds, and performance reporting.

What you'll do

Plan and execute 15 campaign emails per month (promos, product launches, seasonal content, newsletters)

Write on-brand copy that converts - subject lines, preview text, body copy, CTAs

Design clean, mobile-optimized email templates (Klaviyo or similar ESP)

Build and optimize automated flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, etc.)

Manage segmentation and list hygiene

Track and report on key metrics (open rate, CTR, conversion, revenue per email) with monthly insights and recommendations

Run basic A/B tests on subject lines, send times, and content

Requirements





Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience running email marketing for a DTC/ecommerce brand and restaurant brands(not just B2B newsletters)

Solid portfolio showing both copy and design work - please include samples/links

Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight

Experience building and optimizing automated flows, not just one-off campaigns

Data fluency - can read performance numbers and turn them into next steps, not just report them

Nice to have

Experience in wellness, beauty, CPG, or food/bev brands

Figma or basic HTML/CSS for email

SMS marketing experience

Structure

Monthly retainer, ongoing contract

Hybrid a couple times a month, but 90% remote
