We are looking for someone who is dependable, trustworthy, conscientious and pleasant to work with, and who takes pride in noticing the small things as well as completing the job at hand.

The properties include a combination of landscaped gardens, lawns, natural and forested areas, as well as residential properties. This is a varied position and would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors but is also happy to pitch in with general property-related jobs when needed.

Responsibilities may include:

- General grounds and yard maintenance
- Lawn and landscape care
- Pruning and trimming shrubs and small trees
- Weeding and garden maintenance
- Seasonal cleanup and leaf/debris removal
- Maintaining natural and forested areas
- Using and maintaining basic landscaping tools and equipment
- Minor exterior maintenance and repairs
- Occasional painting and general handyman projects
- Identifying maintenance issues and bringing them to our attention
- Assisting from time to time with general property tasks such as moving boxes or furniture, organizing or clearing storage areas, cleanup and occasional light cleaning
- Other practical property-maintenance projects as they arise

Grounds and landscape maintenance will make up the majority of the position, but no two weeks are necessarily the same. We are looking for someone who:

- Has several years of relevant landscaping, groundskeeping, property maintenance or similar hands-on experience
- Is physically fit and comfortable with active outdoor work
- Can safely lift approximately 50 lbs
- Is dependable and takes pride in their work




- Can organize their own day and work independently without constant supervision
- Is willing to tackle a variety of jobs rather than having a strictly defined daily routine
- Has positive practical problem-solving skills
- Is comfortable working outdoors throughout the year
- Has a valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle for travel between properties

Experience with painting, basic repairs, carpentry or general handyman work would be a definite asset, but is not essential. Hours: Approximately 25–30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have some flexibility in how the weekly hours are arranged and would be happy to discuss a schedule that works well for the right person. Some seasonal variation in hours may be possible.

No regular weekend work.

Pay: $27–$30 per hour, depending on experience and range of skills.
