Duties

- Collaborate with clients to understand their event themes, preferences, and specific decor needs
- Design and execute decorative elements including floral arrangements, table settings, backdrops, lighting, and other visual enhancements
- Source and select decor materials within budget constraints while maintaining high aesthetic standards
- Set up, arrange, and style event spaces efficiently and creatively before guest arrival
- Coordinate with event planners, vendors, and venue staff to ensure seamless decor integration
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines for setup and breakdown of event decor
- Upsell additional decor services or enhancements to enhance the overall event experience

Requirements

- Proven experience in event decoration,



hospitality, or related fields such as restaurant or hotel environments
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles to promote decor ideas and upselling opportunities
- Excellent guest services skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Effective negotiation skills for sourcing materials and vendor agreements
- Exceptional customer service abilities to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Superior organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in time management and budgeting to optimize resources efficiently
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with clients, team members, and vendors

Nice-to-have skills include experience in hospitality or hotel settings, restaurant background, or prior work in event planning. A background in marketing or guest services can enhance your ability to create engaging decor concepts that resonate with clients.
