About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and creative Event Operations Manager to oversee the successful execution of events in Kimberley. This role is responsible for managing all logistical aspects of events, from planning and budgeting to on-site coordination and post-event analysis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for events, excellent project management skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. You will be key in ensuring memorable and flawlessly executed events for clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, manage, and execute a variety of events, ensuring they run smoothly and meet client objectives.
- Develop detailed event budgets and manage them effectively, ensuring cost control.
- Source and manage vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
- Oversee event logistics, including venue setup, technical requirements, staffing, and security.
- Provide on-site management during events, troubleshooting any issues that arise.




- Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback and reporting on event success.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in event planning and operations management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously from conception to completion.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools is a plus.
