Hope Haven Society is seeking an Executive Director to lead an experienced group of talented and compassionate individuals supporting families impacted by family violence.
The Executive Director oversees a complex, multi-site social services operation that includes shelter, housing and community programming. This role provides senior leadership across all programs, operations and services ensuring alignment with Hope Haven’s missions, values and regulatory requirements.
As our Executive Director, you will serve as the chief advocate, strategist and operational leader. Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will translate our mission into measurable results, secure vital funding and lead a dedicated team.
Who we are:
Established in 1991 Hope Haven provides accommodations and supports to families impacted by domestic abuse. Supports include:
- 24-hour crisis line
- 21 bed emergency shelter for women and children
- 2 apartments for second stage shelter
- 3 transitional housing units
- Outreach services
- Children’s programming
- Host of the Lac La Biche & Area Family Violence Program
Who you are:
- Possess academic qualifications in a relevant social service field
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge of facility management, contract management & reporting, financial budget management and budgeting, human relations, event / fundraising planning
- Ability to work with a volunteer Board of Directors
