N’Dinawemak – Our Relatives’ Place is an Indigenous-led organization in Winnipeg, providing low-barrier shelter, transitional housing, outreach, and community safety and wellness supports.
We walk alongside our relatives with compassion, respect, and cultural teachings, working toward stronger people, safer communities, and brighter tomorrows.

The Chance The Executive Director will provide visionary leadership, operational direction, and relationship-building to advance N’Dinawemak’s mission and impact.
This is an opportunity to lead a dedicated team, strengthen community partnerships, and help shape a healthier, safer, and more inclusive future for our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership.
- Advance Indigenous values, teachings, and decolonizing practices.
- Build and nurture relationships with community, funders, and partners.
- Oversee organizational management, finances, and human resources.
- Champion the voices and needs of our relatives.
Ideal Candidate We are looking for a leader who brings:
- Experience as a values-driven leader.
- A deep commitment to Indigenous ways of knowing and being.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in non-profit leadership and community development.
- A collaborative, humble, and solutions-focused approach.
We welcome applications from candidates who share our commitment to community, equity, and reconciliation. Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
