Job Overview

We are seeking energetic and engaging Part-Time Experience Team Members & Tour Guides to bring our distillery’s story to life for visitors.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Experience Team Instructors to lead groups through the process of crafting their own gin/whisky from scratch. As the instructor, you will guide participants through the entire journey—from designing a unique gin/whisky recipe to setting up and running the distillation/blending process.

Your role will be to ensure that each participant gains a deeper understanding and appreciation of the science and artistry behind gin production/whisky blending, while also encouraging creativity and collaboration.

In addition to leading workshops, you will be responsible for conducting informative and engaging tours of our facility for daily and weekly visitors. You will also represent our brand at local markets, interacting with the public and promoting our products and experiences.

Retired military veterans are highly encouraged to apply, given our facility's heritage as converted army stables. Your experience and insights would be a valuable asset to our tours and storytelling.

Responsibilities

- Lead engaging, informative tours of the distillery, sharing insights about our spirits, production process, and local ingredients
- Interact with visitors in multiple languages, ensuring clear communication and a welcoming atmosphere
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering tastings, and guiding visitors through our tasting room




- Manage time effectively to ensure smooth tour schedules and visitor flow
- Demonstrate leadership by inspiring curiosity and enthusiasm about spirits and distillery operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tour areas to uphold safety standards and a professional environment
- Collect feedback from visitors to continuously improve the tour experience

Qualifications

- Enthusiasm for Education: A genuine desire to share knowledge and create an enjoyable learning experience for participants of all ages.
- Robust Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand and engaging manner, suitable for diverse audiences.
- Passion for Craft Spirits: A genuine interest in the art of gin making and a passion for sharing that knowledge with others.
- Customer Service Oriented: Comfortable interacting with the public in various settings, including workshops, tours, and markets, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage group dynamics and ensure that each student has a fulfilling and educational experience, while also managing tour groups and market interactions effectively.
- Safety Conscious: Knowledge of safety protocols involved in distillation and handling of alcohol, and the ability to enforce these protocols with students and tour participants.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new information about our products and processes to effectively teach classes , conduct tours and the possibility to represent us at markets.
