Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations
- Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent service and addressing their needs promptly
- Handle food safety procedures, including proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for change
- Assist in food preparation and serving snacks or light menu items as needed
Experience
- Proven barista experience in the food industry or food service workplace
- Food Handlers certificate
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Experience with serving, food preparation, and food handling procedures
- Basic math proficiency for cashiering and transaction accuracy
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
