Overview:

The Teddy Bear Pack is a small business based in Vancouver that provides pack hikes and sleepovers for doodles. Established in 2022, we have been growing steadily and now have 50 clients who regularly join pack hikes and sleepovers. The Teddy Bear Pack team is 3 dog walkers, and we're looking for a 4th walker.

We understand it’s a privilege to care for people’s dogs. Rain or shine, we show up with enthusiasm and are ready to have a new adventure every day with the pack!

This is a permanent independent contractor role for an experienced professional. You will be responsible for providing exceptional care and exercise for doodles while ensuring their safety and happiness during off-leash pack hikes.

Our pack hikes are a fantastic way to work outdoors and enjoy the beautiful Vancouver North Shore trails with a group of amazing dogs. Packs are 3-6 dogs based on your experience, and on-the-job training is provided. Previous experience as a dog walker or in the pet care industry is essential.

Hours & Schedule:

Pack hikes occur 5 days a week, Monday-Friday, between 8am-4pm. Pack hikes are door-to-door and are 3-4 hours depending on group size. The routine is: Dog pickups -> Drive to hike location -> 90 min off-leash hike -> Dog drop offs

There is a lot of flexibility to create a regular schedule that suits you. We’re looking for a new team member who can commit to the same day and time every week.
