Lullaboo Nursery and Childcare Centers is one of Ontario’s leading provider of childcare services the Greater Toronto Area. We are looking for a Building Maintenance Specialist in Toronto/York Region. The purpose of the successful candidate is to ensure the safety, maintenance and operational effectiveness of Lullaboo’s childcare facilities.

Responsibilities

- Oversee centers in Peel Region
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and routine building inspections to identify possible issues
- Replace broken fixtures and hardware
- Initiate and complete general repairs, painting, drywall, etc as needed
- Assist with landscape maintenance and intensive cleaning tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace
- Complete reporting and compliance paperwork as necessary

Required Skills and Qualifications




- At least 2 years of previous experience in commercial and/or residential maintenance
- Previous experience in customer service
- A valid drivers license with own vehicle
- Mature professional judgement in handling matters
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Must be positive, pro-active and a self starter
- Possesses an overwhelming sense for “Exceptional Customer Service”

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
