Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Fast Food Attendant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cashiering, and restaurant operations within a fast-paced setting.

Duties

- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and safety protocols
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and process payments efficiently
- Provide friendly and prompt customer service, including serving food and assisting with inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Follow food handling and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Restock supplies and assist in kitchen duties as needed during shifts




- Manage time effectively to ensure timely order fulfillment during busy periods

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety standards
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations
- Effective time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and proper kitchen hygiene procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Basic understanding of upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided
