Install, configure, test, and maintain AFATDS operating systems, application software, and system management tools. Initialize, configure, and troubleshoot software interfaces Manage and monitor all installed systems, networks, and infrastructure for optimal performance.

Ensure high availability, reliability, and resilience of system and network infrastructure. Monitor and evaluate application performance, identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and collaborate with developers to implement fixes. Participate in the design and enhancement of information and operational support systems as required.

Prepare weekly and bi-weekly technical and operational reports. Provide over-the-shoulder training and mentorship to artillery operators.

Assist Canadian Army

Artillery units in planning and executing simulated and live-fire unit/formation-level exercises. Assist the Joint Fires Modernization Project Management Office with system acceptance, technical systems testing, management of interdependent systems interfaces of in-service and future systems, and on-site and remote support of field units implementing AFATDS Passport with at least 2 years remaining. Windows 10 (or later) system administration.
