About the Role

Our client is seeking a certified and enthusiastic Fitness Instructor & Personal Trainer to join their dynamic health club in East London . This role involves guiding members through effective exercise routines, developing personalized fitness plans, and motivating individuals to achieve their health and wellness goals. You will be responsible for creating a positive and encouraging environment, conducting fitness assessments, and potentially leading group fitness classes. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, personable, and passionate about helping others improve their physical well-being.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments and develop individualized personal training programs tailored to client goals.
- Provide instruction and supervision on proper exercise techniques, ensuring member safety and effectiveness.
- Motivate and encourage clients to adhere to their fitness plans and achieve desired results.
- Lead engaging group fitness classes (e.g., aerobics, strength training, HIIT) as required.
- Educate members on fitness principles,



nutrition basics, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain client records and track progress towards their fitness objectives.

Requirements

- Certification from a recognized fitness training institution (e.g., CATHSSETA, ACE, NASM).
- Proven experience as a Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, exercise science, and kinesiology.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
- Ability to design effective and safe exercise programs for diverse client needs.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification is mandatory.
