About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Flexographic Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of wide-web flexographic printing equipment while ensuring the highest standards of print quality, productivity, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up, operate, and monitor flexographic printing presses.
- Mount printing plates and install anilox rolls, inks, and substrates according to job specifications.
- Verify color accuracy, registration, print quality, and overall press performance.
- Troubleshoot print defects and equipment issues to minimize downtime and waste.
- Perform press wash-ups, changeovers, and routine maintenance activities.
- Complete quality checks and production documentation throughout each run.
- Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and GMP requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to achieve production targets.

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 5 years of flexographic printing experience preferred.
- Experience operating narrow-web flexographic printing presses is considered a strong asset.
- Knowledge of process printing, color matching, registration control, and print defect identification.
- Experience with plate mounting, ink management, anilox roll selection, and press setup.
- Ability to read and interpret production orders, specifications, and quality standards.




- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer skills for production reporting and press control systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

- Experience printing on paper, flexible packaging, or specialty substrates.

- Knowledge of OSHA/Health & Safety and GMP requirements.
- Forklift certification is considered an asset.
