Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating, ordering, and inquiries to ensure a positive dining experience
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing orders and payments while handling cash and card transactions with precision
- Manage food handling and sanitation protocols to uphold food safety standards and ensure cleanliness throughout the dining area
- Upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain efficient time management to serve guests promptly during busy hours, balancing multiple tables and tasks seamlessly




- Support food preparation and serving by coordinating with kitchen staff to deliver timely orders
- Uphold restaurant sanitation standards by regularly cleaning tables, condiments, and dining areas in accordance with health regulations

Qualifications

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and basic food handling techniques
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to support guest services and restaurant operations
