Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of food and beverage options.
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests and dietary needs are noted clearly.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales by recommending popular dishes or specials.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues efficiently.




- Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management skills, ensuring all guests receive attentive service without delay.
- Assist with setting up dining areas, refilling supplies, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift.
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional guest services, address concerns promptly, and foster a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; a passion for customer service is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems such is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and making change accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A friendly attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
