Duties

- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, accurately processing orders, payments, and refunds.
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, balancing registers at the end of each shift while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchens, dining spaces, and food prep stations, following strict food safety protocols.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely food delivery and smooth restaurant operations.




- Assist in food handling tasks such as stocking supplies, preparing ingredients, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Experience using POS systems like Micros POS is advantageous but training will be provided.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during fast-paced shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a lively restaurant workplace.
