Job Summary

Duties

- Assist with food preparation, including assembling ingredients and ensuring dishes are ready for service
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for processing transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and providing correct change with precision
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing questions and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the truck’s kitchen and serving areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- Support food handling procedures, ensuring proper storage,



labeling, and hygiene practices are followed at all times

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of food preparation and handling
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for efficient transaction processing
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counting
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outdoor setting while maintaining professionalism and energy
- Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
