At Learning Tree Tutors we are looking for French/ French Immersion 1-on-1 tutors for the primary/junior level grades. This position is ONLINE, but there may also be In-Person tutoring opportunities later (at a higher pay rate).

Tutors must have time available for tutoring a minimum of 2 days a week after school, 4 PM or later. Weekend availability is also desirable.

Part-time Hours vary depending on what assignments are currently available that fit your qualifications and available times.

Qualifications:

- Certified OCT certified teacher or equivalent. Students in Master of Education program will also be considered

OR
- B.A. or M.A. in French language & literature with experience in teaching or tutoring
- Native or near-native speaker of French with excellent pronunciation and knowledge of French grammar
- Fluent English speaker.




- Proficient in teaching using technology, e.g. Zoom, Google classroom
- Good communication and interpersonal/rapport-building skills
- Patient, caring, dependable & flexible
- Candidate must be willing to do a background check.
